Zhangjiang Science Gate serves as a flagship landmark of Shanghai’s science and technology innovation center. It carries the strategic mission of advancing technological self-reliance and building a world-class sci-tech industry cluster, while functioning as a pivotal node in the “Golden Middle Ring Development Belt.” The project demands the highest standards in digital display technology and spatial aesthetics.

Sansi has delivered its comprehensive portfolio of premium LED display solutions to the core area of Zhangjiang Science Gate, providing fully customized display systems for the landmark Twin Towers, the underground connectivity corridor, and the adjacent Hilton Hotel.

The West Tower of the Twin Towers is the primary architectural icon and the “first impression” of the entire sci-tech precinct. Sansi engineered a bespoke installation of 40 vertical LED screens that wrap around the building—11 screens on the east and west facades and 9 on the north and south—creating a seamless indoor display matrix of nearly 400 square meters with a total height exceeding 10 meters.

The innovative vertical-strip screen design produces a dynamic “light waterfall” effect. Tailored to the on-site environment, the system has become a highly distinctive visual centerpiece within the building. With exquisite image quality, accurate color reproduction, flawless seamless splicing, and ultra-wide viewing angles, the installation delivers a fully immersive experience that harmonizes perfectly with the tower’s architectural structure, establishing a recognizable technological visual symbol for Zhangjiang Science Gate.

The underground connectivity corridor, running from Exit 1 of Xuelin Road Station on Metro Line 13 to the Shanghai Science and Technology Investment Building and the Luyue Tiandi commercial zone, serves as the “vital artery” linking the district’s core buildings and functional areas.

Sansi equipped the passage with VE III Series indoor LED displays. The solution features a clean, compact design, exceptional operational stability, and real-time information publishing capabilities for wayfinding, sci-tech updates, and public service announcements. Engineered for efficient thermal management, convenient maintenance, and fail-safe operation, the system enhances pedestrian experience while strengthening the technological character and visual coherence of the underground space—achieving a seamless integration of functionality and aesthetics to support intelligent mobility throughout the precinct.

The Hilton Hotel, located within Zhangjiang Science City and immediately adjacent to the Science Gate core zone, acts as the district’s premier business and hospitality hub, hosting high-level corporate events, conferences, and executive receptions.

To match the luxury positioning of the hotel, Sansi implemented a multi-series display solution: P0.9 ultra-fine-pitch LED displays in the lobby and a large-format LED system in the third-floor banquet hall. The installation covers the lobby, public areas, and multi-function spaces, fully satisfying requirements for premium brand image presentation and conference operations. The system delivers crystal-clear image quality, silent operation, rock-solid reliability, and flexible installation, elevating the spatial ambiance and service experience to international five-star hotel standards. It perfectly complements Zhangjiang Science Gate’s high-end sci-tech identity.
