Exterior LED Screen in Downtown Atlanta

Exterior LED Screen in Downtown Atlanta

A 43-foot-long, curved LED screen for the rooftop of a small historic building at 140 Peachtree Street NW in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Orange Barrel Media, a leader in unique outdoor media, procured the new digital-out-of-home (DOOH) display, which overlooks Margaret Mitchell Square at the intersection of Peachtree and Forsyth streets.

The DOOH LED Screen Customization

The LED display measures 13'4" high by 43' wide and sports a 50-foot convex radius so pedestrian and automobile traffic throughout the intersection can view its content. The screen was built using an 8 mm pixel pitch, with more than 830,000 pixels (510 x 1,640). The rooftop digital sits just above a waterfall feature interspersed with columns. The digital is across the street from the entrance to the Peachtree Center station for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority.
